With the Classification Toolkit (CLT), time-consuming classification of your 3D CAD data is a thing of the past.

Classification according to geometric similarity is performed completely interactively using the SIMUFORM® CLT (CLASSIFICATION TOOLKIT) add-on tool.

It is no longer necessary to create complex sets of rules.

This extension scans the previously automatically created fingerprint database and groups similar parts or assemblies automatically. This means, SIMUFORM® CLT finds similar objects and places them together in a previously defined folder.

The original geometries are not touched or moved. They remain in their original configuration. A new view of your existing data is made possible via the CLT extension. Only their fingerprints are sorted. From them, a reference points to the original models. Readjustments to the result are possible interactively.

Example: The SIMUFORM® CLASSIFICATION TOOLKIT finds a motor assembly. This is assigned to a new folder "Motors". The SIMUFORM® CLT now searches your database further and finds similar objects, for example 20 more motors. All these motors or their fingerprints are now also assigned to this folder. The reference to the original models already exists. Newly generated motors can be automatically assigned to this group when they are created.

As a result you get clusters with similar parts or assemblies. These are displayed to you in a catalog or table view. In addition, the result can now be written out in list formats with attributes to be configured.

This assignment structure can then in turn be transferred to a PDM system or an ERP system. The changes are kept up to date via automatisms.
