Statistical data that we collect, for example, when you visit our website and that cannot be directly linked to your person are not included here. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and strictly adhere to the relevant legal regulations and this privacy policy when collecting and processing personal data. If the purpose of the data collection ceases to apply or if the end of the legal storage period has been reached, the collected data will be blocked or deleted. Will my data be used for advertising purposes?

In addition to processing your data to provide our services, we also use your data to communicate with you about your orders, certain products or marketing campaigns and to recommend products or services that may interest you. You can object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes in total or for individual measures at any time. A notification in text form to the contact details below (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this purpose.

Newsletter / Promotional emails

For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have previously explicitly confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification e-mail and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this e-mail. Should you later no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can object to this at any time. A message in text form to the contact details below (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

Newsletter - Shipping service provider

The newsletter is sent using the shipping service provider HubSpot, Inc, 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141 USA . You can view the privacy policy of the shipping service provider here: https://legal.hubspot.com/de/privacy-policy. The shipping service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and an order processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 p. 1 DSGVO. The dispatch service provider may use the recipients' data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user, to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimize the dispatch and presentation of the newsletters or for statistical purposes. However, the dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties.

Newsletter - Performance measurement

The newsletters contain a so-called "web beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from our server when the newsletter is opened, or if we use a shipping service provider, from their server. In the course of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the time of the retrieval are collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. The statistical surveys also include the determination of whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our intention nor, if used, that of the dispatch service provider to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.

If you no longer wish to receive product recommendations or promotional messages from us, you can object to this at any time. A message in text form to the contact details below (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every e-mail.

Customized advertising and e-mails

Information that we receive from you helps us to permanently improve our services, the software and our information on the website (www.simuform.com) and to make them more customer-friendly and individual for you. The information you provide and automatically generated is used to design advertising tailored to you and your interests. We use existing information for this purpose, such as confirmations of receipt and reading of e-mails, information about computer and connection to the Internet, operating system and platform, if applicable your order history, your service history, date and time of your visit to the homepage, products you have viewed.

We use this information exclusively in pseudonymized form. By analyzing and evaluating this information, it is possible for us to improve our websites and our Internet offering, as well as to send you individualized advertising. This means advertising that recommends products and services that may actually be of interest to you. Our goal is to make our advertising more useful and interesting for you. Therefore, the evaluation and analysis of the pseudonymized data collected from you helps us to ensure that we do not send you advertising indiscriminately. Rather, we send you advertising, such as newsletters, product recommendations, by e-mail or mail advertising that corresponds to your areas of interest. In this respect, for example, we also compare which of our advertising e-mails you open in order to avoid unnecessary e-mails being sent to you.

SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH uses the data you provide and other information stored about your contact, as well as pseudonymized usage data, to present you with personalized advertising and/or special offers and services.

If you do not wish to receive personalized advertising, you can object to this at any time in total or for specific measures. A notification in text form to the contact details below (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this purpose.

We also use your data for market and opinion research. Of course, we use them exclusively anonymously for statistical purposes and only for SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH. Your answers in surveys will not be passed on to third parties or published. SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH uses and processes my personal data for market and opinion research for its own purposes.

You can object to the use of data for market and opinion research at any time, either in full or for specific measures. A notification in text form to the contact details below (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every survey e-mail.

Data protection during applications and the application process

SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH collects and processes the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. The processing may also take place electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant submits corresponding application documents to SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH electronically, for example by e-mail or via a web form located on the website. If we, SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH, conclude an employment contract with an applicant, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be automatically deleted two months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of the data controller oppose deletion. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a duty to provide evidence in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These small text files are stored on your PC from our server. They support the display of our website and help you navigate our website. Cookies collect data about your IP address, browser, operating system and internet connection. We do not link this information to personal data and do not pass it on to third parties. Under no circumstances are cookies used by us to bring malware or spyware onto your computer. You can also use our website without the use of cookies, which may cause some displays and functions of our offer to work only to a limited extent.

Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our websites. However, please note that our website and service will have limited functionality if you do not allow us to set cookies.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are stored on your data carrier and that store certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. Basically, we distinguish between 2 different types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and temporary/permanent cookies, which are stored on your data carrier for a longer period of time or indefinitely. This storage helps us to design our websites and our offers for you accordingly and makes it easier for you to use them, for example, by storing certain entries from you in such a way that you do not have to keep repeating them.

Which cookies does SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH use? Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session (therefore also session cookies). Session cookies are needed, for example, to automatically recognize that you have already been with us during a further visit and which inputs and settings you prefer. These temporary or permanent cookies (lifetime 1 month to 10 years) are stored on your hard drive and delete themselves after the specified time. These cookies in particular serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Thanks to these files, for example, it is possible for you to receive information on the site that is specifically tailored to your interests. The exclusive purpose of these cookies is to adapt our offer to your customer wishes in the best possible way and to make surfing with us as comfortable as possible for you.

What data is stored in the cookies?
Only pseudonymous data is stored in the cookies used by SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH. When the cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number and an assignment of your personal data to this identification number is not made. Your name, IP address or similar data that would allow the cookie to be assigned to you are not placed in the cookie. On the basis of the cookie technology, we only receive pseudonymized information, for example, about which pages of our websites were visited, which content/products were viewed, etc.

What is Onsite Targeting?
On the SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH websites, data is collected on the basis of cookie technology to optimize our advertising and the entire online offering. This data is not used to identify you personally, but is used solely for a pseudonymous evaluation of the use of the homepage. At no time will your data be merged with personal data stored by us. This technology allows us to present you with advertisements and/or special offers and services, the content of which is based on the information obtained in connection with clickstream analysis (for example, advertisements based on the fact that only webinar dates have been viewed in the last few days). Our goal here is to make our online offering as attractive as possible for you and to present you with advertising that matches your areas of interest.

Are there also cookies from third-party providers (so-called third-party cookies)? SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH uses some advertising partners that help to make the internet offer and the web pages more interesting for you. Therefore, cookies from partner companies are also stored on your hard drive when you visit the websites. These are temporary/permanent cookies that are automatically deleted after the specified time. These temporary or permanent cookies (lifetime 14 days to 10 years) are stored on your hard drive and delete themselves after the specified time. The cookies of our partner companies also contain only pseudonymous mostly even anonymous data. This is, for example, data about what content and or products you have viewed, whether something was purchased, what products were searched for, etc.. In this context, some of our advertising partners also collect information beyond the websites about which pages you have previously visited or which products you were interested in, for example, in order to be able to show you advertising that best matches your interests. This pseudonymous data is at no time merged with your personal data. Their sole purpose is to enable our advertising partners to address you with advertising that might actually interest you.

How can you prevent cookies from being stored?
In your browser you can set that a storage of cookies is only accepted if you agree. If you only want to accept the SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH cookies but not the cookies of our service providers and partners, you can select the setting in your browser "Block third-party cookies". As a rule, you will be shown in the menu bar of your web browser via the help function how to reject new cookies and switch off those already received.

If you want to disable cookies, you can do so via special settings in your browser. Please use its help function to make the appropriate changes. You can manage online ad cookies via the following links:

www.aboutads.info/choices for the USA www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices for Europe

We recommend that for shared computers that are set to accept cookies and Flash cookies, you always log out completely when finished.

Third-party content and services

The offer on our website may also include content, services and performances from other providers that complement our offer. Examples of such services are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos or third-party graphics. Calling up these third-party services regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This makes it possible for these providers to perceive your user IP address and also to store it. We make every effort to include only those third-party providers that use IP addresses solely for the purpose of delivering content. However, we have no influence on which third-party provider stores the IP address, if any. This storage may serve statistical purposes, for example. If we become aware of storage processes by third-party providers, we will immediately inform our users of this fact. In this context, please also note the specific privacy statements of individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. You will also find them in this privacy policy - for example, GoogleMaps.

Server log files

Each time the pages of SIMUFORM Search Solutions GmbH are accessed, usage data is transmitted by the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. The data records stored in this process contain the following data:

  • Date and time of retrieval
  • Name of the accessed page
  • IP address
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Referrer URL (origin URL from which you came to the web pages)
  • the amount of data transferred
  • as well as product and version information of the browser used.

The IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized after termination of use. In the case of anonymization, the IP addresses are changed in such a way that the individual information about personal or factual circumstances can no longer be assigned to a specific or identifiable natural person or can only be assigned to such a person with a disproportionate amount of time, cost and effort.
We evaluate these log file data records in anonymized form in order to further improve our offer and the contents of the website and to make them more user-friendly, to find and correct errors more quickly and to control server capacities. For example, we can track at what time the use of the website is particularly popular and provide appropriate data volume to ensure that you can access the content / pages as quickly as possible. In addition, we can also detect and correct any errors in the website more quickly by analyzing the log files.

By each call of one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically caused by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. Within the scope of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google receive knowledge of which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject. If the data subject is logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting by calling up a sub-page that contains a YouTube video. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject. YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into YouTube at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her YouTube account before accessing our website.
