SIMILIA AUTOMATION (SIA)
SIMILIA AUTOMATION (SIA) enables automated comparison of CAD data in a batch process. It can be integrated into any system that is to compare geometry or assemblies automatically. Examples are the automated comparison of incoming customer inquiries, automated comparison of CAD data with preferred parts or factory standard parts in standardization and norming. SIA can be used wherever 3D data is located, to be compared for the purpose of controlling subsequent processes.
SIMILIA CLASSIFICATION TOOLKIT (CLT)
A complex set of rules is no longer necessary with the use of SIMILIA CLASSFICATION TOOLKIT for the classification of your 3D models.
With the help of SIMILIA's sophisticated algorithm, 3D drawing parts are clustered or classified according to their geometric similarity to each other. Associated master data is also taken into account. In this way, you obtain a simple structuring of your data and can easily check the "varietal purity" of your inventory data.
SIMILIA DUPLICATE SEARCH
Duplicates or duplicates are a horror for any company. They act like a disruptive fire and are like sand in the gears of business processes. This results in unnecessary and avoidable costs. The costs propagate along the entire process chain and increase tenfold from stage to stage (rule of ten).
SIMILIA DUPLICATE SEARCH can be used to check the entire dataset for geometric duplicates. In combination with a decision logic, attributes or master data can also be included in the matching process. In combination with SIMILIA GATEKEEPER, this is an excellent solution for initially and permanently getting rid of duplicates.
SIMILIA BCP TARGET COSTING (BCP)
SIMILIA BCP TARGET COSTING can be used to automatically compare mass parts lists or new article numbers with the actual article stock. BCP stands for BOM Compare Process, i.e. a comparison of article or master data. In this way, identical or similar articles are recorded with the corresponding prices, suppliers and purchasing conditions. The result of the comparison is summarized in a report for further processing (e.g. Excel).
All information relevant to the procurement process is clearly displayed in this way for comparison. The buyer sees immediately for which new article there are already other very similar articles. He can also see at which price, in which quantity and at which delivery conditions these were purchased, when the last order was placed or whether there are graduated prices. All this is automated and makes your procurement work easier.
