How much does the software cost?

The software is available as an annual usage model. Individual licenses can be cancelled annually.

How much does it cost to put the software into operation?

For the commissioning of the overall solution SIMUFORM offers commissioning packages at a fixed price. These costs can be called up here:

What is included in the price of the software?

Depending on the floating license, all client functions are included. This includes e.g.:
- CAD viewer with component overlay
- 1x native CAD-Reader
- Subrange search
- Full text search
- 2D data integration
- SQL database and SIMUFORM server services
A complete list of all SIMILIA functions can be viewed here:The automation functions are not included here. In addition, the price includes maintenance, updates, upgrades, service, support, technical hotline and all services to keep SIMILIA permanently in operation. There are therefore no additional costs for the user.

Can licenses be terminated?

Licenses can be cancelled annually.

Do I need to sign an additional maintenance contract?

No - An additional maintenance contract is not required.

Can anyone start SIMILIA?

Yes - there are basically no restrictions, unless internal IT sets permissions here about access to programs.

Is there a license monitor?

Yes - IT administration can view which licenses are being used by which users at any time via a web service.

Can licenses be used across multiple sites?

Yes - The user only needs to ensure that the license manager can be reached via the corporate network. If the locations are outside the EMEA time zone, an extension of the licenses to "global floating" is required.

Are inactive licenses automatically released for use?

The Software Acitivity Control (SAC) function can be used to return started but inactive software instances to the license manager. The user can wait for the next available license. This function is available from four licenses for an additional charge.

How is SIMILIA licensed?

SIMILIA is operated via floating licenses. There is no minimum activity time or license block time. When closing the software, the license is immediately available.

What happens when we update our CAD system?

Our CAD readers are downward compatible. A repeated data preparation is not necessary in case of a CAD system update.
